Richard Moore Summer 10
The summer 2010 collection features 20 styles, starring Moore’s world class knitwear, but amplified in appeal and relevance by a beautiful range of directional woven’s.
Summer ’10 sees the emergence of all the military shades as significant – Khaki, Cadet Blue and Caramel are key, and the perfect complement to these are the seasons must have beautiful soft shades of Ambrosia pink, Cornflower blue, Lilac & Pale yellow.
The season’s key bright colours are Washed Raspberry, Tropic & Yolk, which are again grounded nicely by Neutral Greys, a Barley Beige, a Corset skin tone, and a truly beautiful Calico Cream.
Moore’s signature knitwear features a fine rayon yarn, which offers fabulous drape and softness, while delivering colour beautifully.
Simple knitwear lines prevail, with beading used in single bead spots, and in gloss / matt contrast random 3D striping. Striping is important again, especially micro striping and in tipping details, while sequins are used for block colouring.
Fully fashioned details are a feature, with circular fashioned keyhole backs, trim free necklines and armholes on singlet’s.
A Feature of the woven offering is the feminine takes on tailoring with a fabulous tux inspired jacket and a military Capri pant, seamlessly transitioning you from work to play.
The 50’s is referenced strongly in adjustable waist cuff shorts, a beautiful permanent pleat belted chiffon cocktail dress, and a yellow spotted pleated and ruffle detailed poplin sundress.
Japanese inspired pleats, tucks and folds are features on a t-shirt and a beautiful singlet dress, and sharply angled cross panels in a stretch sateen dress and skirt are a highlight of the range.
A beautiful, feminine and modern range, with something for everyone……Richard Moore Summer ’10 will be in stores August 2010.
